NVIDIA Holds Gamer's Gathering for GeForce GTX Titan

The company known for creating the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), NVIDIA, held an event exclusively for over 70 gamers at Galactic Laser, Sunway Pyramid on March 3, 2013. The event was hosted with the aim to update on the recently-launched NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan, which is the newest and most powerful graphics card from NVIDIA.

Yeo Ngee-Seng, Regional Channel Manager, South East Asia, NVIDIA Singapore, was present to deliver a briefing, where he explained more about the NVIDIA's most powerful single-processor GPU chip to-date, boasting some staggering 2,688 CUDA cores with up to 6GB of GDDR5 memory.

Following that, to demonstrate just how powerful the Titan was, the graphics card was paired against an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card to play Crysis 3, arguably the most demanding game on its highest settings. The crowd later had the chance to try out the graphics card at the ASUS and Gigabyte booths that were using their own designs of the GeForce GTX Titan graphics card.

Both Gigabyte and ASUS also prepared NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan graphics cards as prizes for two lucky winners.

Azy Chua, Country Product Manager, ASUS Malaysia; gave the prize to lucky winner Joel Tan Soon Meng

Annie Yang, Graphics Card Sales & Marketing Division, Graphics Card Business Unit, Gigabyte Taiwan, gave the prize to lucky winner Liew Rui Mien

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan graphics card is now available in Malaysia.
