Transcend’s StoreJet Cloud Portable Wireless Drive Receives Best Choice Award at Computex Taipei 2012

Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend®), a worldwide leader in storage and multimedia products, is proud to announce that its StoreJet Cloud Portable Wireless Drive has been awarded the Computex Best Choice Award in the communication category by a panel of professional reviewers at Computex Taipei 2012. StoreJet Cloud’s impressive functionality and innovation demonstrated Transcend’s outstanding ability to develop user-friendly products that meet new trends in ICT technology, including ultra-thin and portable, cloud application, smart networking (Internet of Things), and high-speed transmission.

StoreJet Cloud portable wireless drive is a flash-based, portable storage device that wirelessly streams digital content to iOS devices (iPad/iPhone/iPod touch), Kindle Fire, Android devices, and other Wi-Fi enabled portable computers. The reviewers at Computex praised the compact and cable-free design of StoreJet Cloud, in addition to over six hours of continuous playback with its rechargeable Li-polymer battery. This allows users to create a secure personal cloud wherever they go and share files with up to five devices simultaneously.

The StoreJet Cloud app, designed for iOS and Android based devices, offers an intuitive file management system and easy-to-use onscreen controls. Support for most of today’s mainstream video, music, document, and image file formats, was quoted as another reason for granting this highly-regarded award. In order to provide the best product experience, the StoreJet Cloud app now supports a dozen languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, German, French, Russian and more.

Transcend’s new StoreJet Cloud is currently available in two capacities: 32GB and 64GB, with the 64GB version providing a further 28 hours of DVD quality movies or 16,000 songs in a small and lightweight design, as well as skip-free playback in an instant.
