Transcend Introduces 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I Cards to Offer More Space for Professional-quality Photo and Video Capture

Dedicated to fulfilling the diverse needs of different types of customers, Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend®), a worldwide leader in storage and multimedia products, today announced the launch of its new 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I (Ultra High Speed Class 1) memory card. Equipped with the fastest type of Toggle mode flash chips available, Transcend’s SDHC Class 10 UHS-I memory cards can now capture and store up to 32GB of stunningly-detailed images and flawless, stutter-free Full HD video.
Intended for use in cutting-edge UHS-I compliant digital photography equipment, Transcend’s 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I cards are optimized to meet the rigorous demands of high-resolution image capture and smooth Full HD 1080p, 3D or even next-generation 4K video recording. To help improve camera response, these cards feature read speeds of up to 85MB/s and write speeds of up to 45MB/s. This exceptional write speed greatly reduces wait time after periods of continuous shooting, ensuring photographers never miss an opportunity to capture the perfect shot of fast moving subjects.

In addition to remarkable transfer speeds, 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I cards effectively ensure ample storage space during long photo shoots and feature-length video recording. Each card can store a full eight hours of 1080p High-Definition footage* or over two thousand RAW images*, eliminating the need to pause and switch memory cards during recording sessions. When paired with a high-end card reader, such as Transcend’s USB 3.0 RDF8 and ExpressCard RDF1, the UHS-I card provides ultra-fast file transfers between card and computer at up to 70MB/s and 85MB/s respectively.

The versatile SDHC Class 10 UHS-I card offers excellent multi-platform compatibility across a wide range of SDHC and SDXC devices. Meanwhile, devices not optimized to use the UHS-I interface maintain the Class 10 speed rating, providing guaranteed write speeds of at least 10MB/s. For peace of mind, each card features built-in ECC (Error Correction Code) to automatically detect and correct errors during data transfer, which prevents data corruption and missing files.

Transcend SDHC Class 10 UHS-I memory cards are currently available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. All are backed by Transcend`s limited lifetime warranty.

* Full HD Video based on 1920x1080 9Mbps H.264 AVC compression. RAW images based on 14MB file size. Actual HD video recording time may vary depending on resolution, compression profile, frame rate, interlace settings, and scene complexity.
