Creative Announces BlasterZone: Blast Away All Barriers To Viewing Mobile Game Recordings In Immersive VR

Creative Technology Ltd today announced the launch of BlasterZone (www.blaster.zone), which will be featured at the Creative booth at CES Las Vegas 2016.


BlasterZone is the next generation of game replay viewing technology, which allows the viewer complete freedom to view the same recording on any device, at any resolution, on any display ranging from mobile devices, to large 4K or higher resolution screens, to VR headsets with full stereo display. This is achieved by our unique 3D vertices recording technology, which captures everything in real-time, including audio, in a 3D world.

During playback, the viewer can pause the video, rewind, move the camera angle to view it from a different perspective, and start playing to see what happened during gameplay from the different point of view. The viewer can zoom in anywhere on screen, at full resolution, to see any part of the replay close up in all the finest detail possible.

Experience infinite resolution playback and zoom of popular games such as Clash of Clans® and Minecraft™ PE via the BlasterZone Player App available for free on the Google Play™ Store today. The ability to view all existing recordings in VR mode will be released as an app update in January at CES 2016. BlasterX VR Headset
For the ultimate BlasterZone experience, Creative will also be launching the BlasterX VR at CES 2016. BlasterX VR is a 3D virtual reality headset that supports most popular smartphones, and is designed to give the viewer a compelling and immersive BlasterZone playback experience when used with Creative's award winning audio headsets. The BlasterX VR also comes with a thumb-sized wireless controller for easy navigation and gameplay. It is also fully compatible with Google Cardboard apps.
