Biwin Amber UV200 Delivers High-Endurance USB Storage Built for Connected Vehicles and Continuous Dashcam Recording

As connected vehicles generate unprecedented volumes of telemetry, always-on parking surveillance, and continuous multi-channel dashcam footage, storage reliability inside the cabin has become a critical challenge. Addressing the intensive write demands of modern automotive systems, the newly introduced Amber UV200 brings high-endurance flash architecture to the in-car ecosystem. Engineered around durable NAND technology and sustained write performance, the drive ensures uninterrupted video capture and multimedia playback without dropping frames during extended drives or overnight sentry monitoring.

Built for Continuous Recording Workloads

Unlike conventional consumer USB drives optimized primarily for burst transfers, the Amber UV200 is designed around stable long-duration recording behavior. Through a USB 3.2 Gen1 interface, it delivers up to 200 MB/s read and 80 MB/s write speeds, while maintaining sustained full capacity write performance of at least 60 MB/s.

Such consistency matters in automotive environments where workloads rarely pause. Multi-channel dashcam recording and extended parking surveillance generate continuous streams of data that can quickly trigger performance drops or sustained-write limitations in general-purpose fl
ash storage. The UV200 handles those demands quietly in the background, supporting consistent recording during daily driving, long-distance travel, or even in monitoring sessions while parked.

A Form Factor Designed to Stay Connected

In modern vehicle interiors, physical footprint truly matters. Built around an integrated MUDP structure, the UV200 adopts an ultra-compact form factor optimized for low-intervention in-car use.

The low-profile design allows the drive to remain connected without obstructing nearby ports or protruding into the surrounding cabin space, making it well suited for always-on recording environments where storage is expected to remain unobtrusive during daily operation.

Designed for In-Car and Everyday Use

Inside a vehicle, flash storage faces operating conditions far more demanding than those encountered in the typical desktop. Heat buildup while under direct sunlight, winter cold, uneven road vibration, and continuous power cycling can all negatively affect short- and long-term reliability.

The Amber UV200 works across temperatures ranging from -25°C to 75°C, with storage tolerance extending from -40°C to 85°C. Designed for stable operation under daily in-car conditions, the UV200 also includes 1-meter drop protection for added durability especially during transport and handling.

As always-on recording and parking-monitoring functions become more common, maintaining stable storage performance under harsh in-car conditions is becoming increasingly important.

Optimized for Long-Duration Recording

The UV200 leverages high-endurance 3D TLC NAND for repetitive overwrite workloads common in dashcam and surveillance applications. Continuous loop recording places a fundamentally different strain on flash memory than intermittent file transfers, particularly when footage is constantly rewritten over extended periods.

Available starting at 128 GB, the UV200 is tailored for continuous recording workloads common in everyday in-car use. As well as recording workloads, the UV200 can also store high-quality FLAC and WAV music libraries for playback on supported vehicle systems.

Everyday Connectivity Beyond the Vehicle

Although developed primarily for automotive recording workloads, the UV200 also remains compatible with laptops and desktops, allowing recorded footage, music libraries, and transferred files to move easily between the vehicle and your home or office.

Its compact low-profile design and Midnight Violet finish help the drive remain visually unobtrusive inside the cabin while still fitting naturally into everyday portable use. Backed by a three-year limited warranty, the UV200 is designed for today’s drivers who rely on continuous recording and superior reliability in everyday operation.

Despite its super-telephoto capabilities shooting up to 400mm, this new lens is compact and lightweight, weighing just 654 g (approx.). Excellent image quality is realized across the entire zoom range thanks to the latest optical design incorporating two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and two aspherical elements. The lens also features fast, precise AF (autofocus) performance to help capture moving subjects such as birds, sports, trains and aircraft, and built-in optical image stabilisation supports handheld shooting in the super-telephoto range.

Compact, Lightweight Design for Easy Handling, Even for First-time Super-Telephoto Users
The lens delivers a 100-400 mm super-telephoto zoom range in a compact and lightweight body weighing approximately 654 g, making it super light to carry. In addition to its excellent portability, its design also contributes to ease of handling during handheld shooting as well as quick framing. Users can capture powerful images of subjects that are difficult to approach, such as birds and sports scenes, while also enjoying landscape photography unique to super-telephoto lenses by making use of the ‘compression effect’, which makes the distance between nearby subjects and distant background elements appear closer together. When used with an optional teleconverter[i], you can double the distance you can capture, with the lens supporting focal lengths of up to 800 mm, or up to 1,200 mm in APS-C mode.

Sharp Detail through the Entire Zoom Range means you can Capture the Details That Matter
Excellent image quality is offered no matter what distance users intend to shoot, thanks to its optical design featuring two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and two aspherical elements which reduce chromatic and other aberrations, delivering clear rendering across the entire zoom range. The shooting subject can stand out impressively in a natural, soft bokeh thanks to its 9-blade circular aperture and optimisation of spherical aberration. In addition, with excellent close-up shooting performance — a minimum focusing distance of 0.86 m at the telephoto end / 1.13 m at the wide end and a maximum magnification of 0.41x — users can enjoy photographing not only distant subjects but also close-up photography of flowers, insects, and other nearby subjects.

Fast, precise AF and built-in optical image stabilisation for moving subjects

The linear motor drive delivers fast, precise and quiet AF, enabling the lens to capture moving subjects. The lens also supports high-speed continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking at up to approximately 120 frames per second[ii] when used with the full-frame mirrorless camera α9 III.

Built-in optical image stabilisation effectively suppresses camera shake during handheld shooting and supports stable framing and shooting, even when capturing distant subjects. The lens also supports the camera body’s Active Mode image stabilization and coordinated image stabilization control[iii], enabling high-quality still-image and movie shooting with reduced blur, even when shooting handheld. Furthermore, it supports the camera body’s breathing compensation function[iv], which corrects changes in angle of view caused by shifts in focus position during movie recording.

Usability and Reliability Built for Outdoor Adventures with Dust and Moisture Resistance

Equipped with a customizable focus hold button, focus mode/range switch, and zoom lock switch, it enables quick operation suited to various shooting scenes and supports comfortable ultra-telephoto shooting. In addition, a dust and moisture resistant design[v] helps users continue shooting with confidence even when the weather changes unexpectedly. The supplied lens hood helps prevent flare and ghosting, which can cause image quality degradation.

Dell Technologies Delivers Production-Ready Agentic AI from Deskside to Data Cente

Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) introduces Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a new addition to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA that gives workgroups the ability to deploy and scale agentic AI workflows locally without the cost, latency and data sovereignty constraints of cloud-only approaches. With the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime now supported across the entire Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, enterprises benefit from a single security and policy enforcement layer from deskside workstations to Dell PowerEdge XE servers.

As AI workflows shift toward agentic architectures, token usage compounds at an accelerating rate, driving cloud costs that can quickly become unsustainable despite falling token prices. Cloud-only strategies fall short on what matters at scale: economics, security and data sovereignty. Organizations running agentic AI need infrastructure that addresses all three and scales with workloads without requiring a rebuild every time they mature.

The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA delivers an enterprise-ready path from the desk where decisions are made to the data center where they scale. For agentic AI workloads of various sizes, organizations can break even versus public cloud API costs in as little as three months with Dell Deskside Agentic AI.1 Deskside systems keep inferencing local, costs predictable and data secure, giving businesses greater control over their AI environment. NVIDIA OpenShell gives developers and IT teams a secure, sandboxed environment to build, deploy and govern AI agents across the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA from workstations to servers. Teams can build and iterate more freely while reducing exposure to unpredictable cloud inference costs, bandwidth expenses and IP risks.

Dell Deskside Agentic AI is built around the reality that roughly over 50% of agentic workflows run on open-weight models.2 This is where the 30-billion to 284-billion parameter model range performs bulk reasoning that efficiently drives operations forward. From coding assistants and research agents to highly secure, private AI assistants for regulated industries, the solution offers a range of Dell high-performance workstations, each sized for different workload and budget requirements. These pair with the NVIDIA NemoClaw reference stack and Dell Services to handle heavy AI workloads wherever they make the most economic sense. With Dell Deskside Agentic AI, organizations can reduce spend up to 87% compared to cloud APIs, over two years.3

Dell Pro Max with GB10: Compact and power-efficient system for small-scale, individual agent prototyping, starting with 30 billion up to 200 billion parameter models.

Dell Pro Precision 9: Enterprise workstation towers featuring Intel Xeon 600 processors for workstation and up to five NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU configurations, providing scalable performance for workhorse‑class GPU workloads and supporting models from 30 billion to 500 billion parameters.

NVIDIA NemoClaw reference stack: An open-source foundation for securely managing always-on AI agents built on OpenClaw, the agentic framework that powers persistent, autonomous, multi-step AI workflows on local hardware. The stack combines high-performance NVIDIA Nemotron open models for reasoning and coding, and OpenShell's secure runtime — all part of the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit for building and orchestrating long-running agents.

Dell Services: End-to-end guidance through the full agentic AI lifecycle – from initial strategy and hardware deployment to workflow alignment, agent prioritization and ongoing optimization – accelerating time-to-production and closing internal AI skills gaps.

Deploying agentic AI in production requires a consistent framework that protects sensitive data, integrates with current operations and covers the full infrastructure stack. NVIDIA OpenShell, now supported across the entire Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, gives organizations a sandboxed environment to build, deploy and govern agents with privacy and security controls at runtime. It spans Dell high-performance workstations through Dell PowerEdge XE servers on Canonical Ubuntu and Red Hat AI in the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. Developing and deploying agents closer to data improves governance, security and operational control.

NVIDIA AI-Q 2.0 blueprint support gives organizations a tested foundation to deploy multi-agent workflows handling research, decision support and complex tasks, accelerating the move from pilot to production. Now available as the Dell-NVIDIA AI-Q 2.0 Reference Architecture, powered by Dell AI Data Platform, it is engineered for demanding on-premises workloads in regulated industries including financial services, public sector and manufacturing.

Jeff Clarke, chief operating officer, Dell Technologies:

“The most efficient token is the one produced closest to the data, and most enterprise data isn't in the cloud. Dell Deskside Agentic AI gives every workgroup a secure local environment to run agents, keep costs predictable and keep IP inside the building. What works at the desk scales to the data center. That's a deployment model for the next decade.”

Justin Boitano, vice president, AI Platforms, NVIDIA:

“As enterprises reshape and scale the future of work with agentic AI, they’re seeking infrastructure that spans the full enterprise — from our desks where work happens to the AI factories where intelligence scales. With NVIDIA OpenShell across the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, enterprises can develop locally, scale securely and deploy agentic AI on one consistent platform.”

Ryan Shrout, president, Signal65:

“As enterprises transition from AI experimentation to full-scale production, the need for secure, scalable and cost-effective infrastructure has never been greater. Dell Deskside Agentic AI, as part of the Dell AI Factory, bridges the gap between local control and enterprise scalability, while providing headroom for continued iteration. This deskside to data center capability is unique and empowers organizations to harness the full potential of agentic AI while maintaining data sovereignty and predictable costs.”
