MSI has announced its extended partnership with ESL, the world’s largest esports company for ESL Pro League Seasons 11 and 12. As the Official Gaming Partner of ESL Pro League, MSI will sponsor Seasons 11 and 12 with cutting-edge gaming hardware, owning the laptop, PC, including motherboards and graphic cards, and monitor categories, and will work to captivate fans through engaging onsite activities.
According to Paul Brewer, SVP Brand Partnerships of ESL, the continuation of the partnership with MSI allows players and fans at ESL tournaments to experience esports in ‘unprecedented ways’. Onsite activations like the Mystery Box Segment and MSI Gaming Arena are some of the exciting experiences which they’ve planned to bring to ESL Pro League Season 11 and 12.
For those of you who missed the Mystery Box Segment in the past, it’s basically a special segment held during the event where ESL talent will quiz two audience members with fun esports trivia questions onsite at the ESL Pro League Season 11 Finals in Denver, CO, on April 10-12 and subsequent Season 12 Finals. Whoever answers these questions correctly will then receive a “mystery box,” containing items provided by the MSI team. Prizes awarded in previous years included high-powered motherboards, graphics cards, and more.

The MSI Gaming Arena (MGA) will also return in 2020. Teams from North America, Europe, APAC, and CIS will have the opportunity to battle it out during online competition to become the top team in their region. From there, the top four teams will be invited to compete in front of a live audience at the MGA Grand Finals at the ESL Pro League Season 12 Finals later this year. The MGA Grand Finals will also be live-streamed on MSI’s social media accounts and official website.
