ACER announced the Nitro 5 comes with Ryzon & NVIDIA combo and available at RM 2,999

Acer Malaysia has announced that the Acer Nitro 5 now comes fitted with Ryzen processor and NVIDIA graphics card and being the affordable powerhouse as its main selling point, customers are in for a pretty sweet deal.Since AMD has released its first Ryzen processor during 2017, more and more users are switching teams and started building rigs consisting of a mix between Team Red and Team Green. It is also the most popular combination as the price-to-performance ratio is currently the highest for users that games on a daily basis while requiring considerable amount of multi-threaded horsepowers such as video rendering, especially students or production users. And with the release of this configuration in a portable form factor on a budget, this could very well be a strong contender for their next laptop purchase. The AMD Ryzen 7 3750H comes with 4 cores and 8 threads and a boost clock of 4.0GHz while the graphics card is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 performs relatively well for most games on medium presets. The NVMe SSD storage also gets a bump to 512GB and the RAM stays the same at 4GB and up to 32GB at maximum. Aesthetical changes are minimum to none for uniformity.

It is currently available on Acer’s online store such as LazMall or authorized reseller at RM2,999.

We’re also seeing a lot more laptops with Ryzen Mobile CPUs coming to the market these few months and the catalog will only grow larger over time. Intel is not only having a tough time in their desktop and HEDT department, but even laptops as well. Competition is good for us consumers after all, and it’s great to see AMD to see rise up.
